OUR HISTORY
Apart from the vision to create a best-in-class personalized supply chain service to its customers, Cargo Services set on its path of expanding geographically from Hong Kong(China) to China as early as 1992 when Shanghai just started to adopt the “ Open Door “ policy following its phenomenal success in Shenzhen since 1980. It embarked on a course quite different from most Hongkong-based and international logistics providers and freight-forwarders. It invested in warehouses in Shanghai to control its standard of services and enabled it to qualify for the Class A Forwarders Licence in 1996, the first awarded to a “ foreign “ international freight-forwarder.
On the basis of this foundation, Cargo Services started to open up offices and operations in other ports, both coastal and inland, in China. The headquarters of its China operations is located in Shanghai.
